Arrest Made in Brutal 1982 Killing of a California Teenager, Officials Say
A75-year-elderly person was captured last week and charged in the 1982 assault
and murder of a teen young lady in California after DNA associated him to the scene, authorities declared Tuesday.
Karen Stitt, 15, was most recently seen by her sweetheart when he left her close to a Sunnyvale,
California, transport stop the evening of September 2, 1982, as per the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office.
The youngster, stressed he would cross paths with his folks for being home late,
left subsequent to watching Karen stroll toward the quit, as per a criminal grumbling.
The following morning, the young lady's body was found close to a soot block wall around 100 yards from the stop.
Examiners decided she had been physically attacked and cut multiple times, the grumbling said.
